  • Little tom & jenna jackson

    Pastors of OBC Deaf Church

Little Tom serves as the Lead Pastor of Oak Brook Community Deaf Church. Little attended Loyola University and majored in Psychology and Theatre. He served many years, giving direct service to students in the Chicago Public Schools. In 1995, Little transitioned from working with students to working with teachers. He began training teachers on how to use his methods of teaching. He currently trains about 25-30 teachers during the summer months. He follows these teachers throughout the school year as mentor and classroom coach.

In 2002, God directed Little to return to school for American Sign Language. Although he has no deaf relatives, it was God’s plan that he attend school and learn about deaf culture and signing. Little became involved with the deaf ministry at Oak Brook Community Church, and poured himself into that church, working as unto the Lord. In 2011, Little inherited that very same deaf church and is now the Senior Pastor. He is presently in the Living Word School of Ministry where he is learning to use the gifts and talents he has used these many years in ministry to the deaf.
